PERSADA (The Friendship Cup) CUP 2007

HO PENG KEE CUP 2006

KE-Burgmann Invitational Cup 2005

Whizzcats Junior Football Club's Under 10 players participated in their first tournament - the KE-Burgmann Invitational Cup 2005. We did not become the champions but we did not go back empty-handed either. We were third runner-up but there were smiles all around as the players got more than just winning - the experience of playing in a real tournament.

Players, Trainers and Parent Volunteers.

We came, we played, we got muddied.

Players waiting to receive their 3rd runner-up medals.

... ah, finally.

Medal presentation at our home ground.

All smiles at the end of Whizzcats' very first tournament for players under 10.

YOUTH SOCCER ACADEMY LEAGUE CHALLENGE 2005

WJFC's under 12 players came second in the Youth Academy League Challenge organised by Bayern Munich Singapore Fan Club. Congratulations to all players. Medals were presented to them by Vice Principal Mr Martin Tan during the friendship game with Dragon 45 FC. The medals and cap were a fitting farewell gift as most of the players will start their secondary education next year. Md Zulfadhli emerged as the tournament's top scorer.

Our first game against One Infinity. Our boys were down but not out yet.

vs FC Bayern Soccer Academy. Our second keeper, Md Khair, facing up to challenges.

The match against Balestier Khalsa Sunday Programme. The weather was marvellous, wished we could say the same for the playing field.

vs FC Bayern Soccer Academy at our home ground. Part of the first XI lining up before the game. Our top scorer, Md Zulfadhli (3rd from left) grimacing.

vs CPSA. We lost 3-5, but it was a classic display of attacking soccer.

The match which was not meant to be.

Tournament Report

The Youth Soccer Academy League Challenge for WHIZZCATS Junior Football Club's Under 12 ended on a low note. No, not because we did not become the champion but because in our supposedly last match with Balestier Khalsa, the club which was supposed to embody the professionalism and ambition of Singapore soccer turned out to be a farce.
